Anil Karamchandani writes about real workplace situations—and practical ways to handle them better.
During his time in banking, he observed that most workdays are made up of recurring situations—conflict, escalation, delegation, feedback, and more.
The details change, but the situations remain the same.
More importantly, there is often a better way to handle them.
Anil worked primarily with ABN AMRO Bank, a Netherlands-based bank, across its Indian branches and BPO, in his career (1994–2011).
He left his job in late 2011 to pursue his interest in management and workplace effectiveness.
He is the author of two books: ’21 Office Situations & How to Deal With Them’ — and its updated edition — ‘28 Management Tips: Long-Term Solutions for Everyday Work Situations’.
Some of his articles have appeared in The Huffington Post, Mint newspaper, and People Matters blog.
This thinking forms the basis of the 28 Workplace Insights for Corporate Professional series— a practical email series covering real workplace situations and how to handle them better.
